We have worked hard to create a facility and staff-working environment that is enjoyable, creative, positive, and perfect for the summer. Monday to Friday - Program runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm They participate in activities ranging from all sports, swim, arts & crafts, ceramics, theater, hands-on science, and gaga to dirt track carts, zipline trails, horseback riding, bungee & trampoline, rocketry, and mountain biking.Ĭamp Dates: June 27th to August 19th (39 Total Camp days) They come from all over Manhattan and Bergen County, NJ. Our campers range in age from three to thirteen (Nursery to Eighth grades) and they are here for six, seven, or eight weeks of fun in the sun. Our counselors are college students who accompany each group of campers and assist our specialists at the activity. The art coordinator is there everyday to help get you whatever you need during the summer so you can run the program you envision. How you teach each project is up to you though. We always welcome new ideas, so you can enhance what we have. Knoeledge of running a kils or Ceramics Wheel a plus, but not necessary.Įach area has a curriculum book with planned art projects so you don’t have to worry about figuring out projects and placing orders as school is winding down and the summer is gearing up. The building was designed to be a ceramics building. Instructors also have an indoor studio with the four kilns, instructor work space, and plenty of supply and project storage space. Our ceramics facility has covered outdoor teaching spaces, 4 modern kilns, 16 wheels, clay roller, sinks, and numerous open counter tops and storage space.
